For 28 years Mission Indy has been leading Church groups in service and outreach work in the Indianapolis area as we equip them to love their neighbors where they live. We train, challenge, encourage and motivate groups of Christians to develop the skills and drive to serve where they live in addition to what they do in Indianapolis.
Mission Indy provides the housing, food, showers, tools and materials as well as the site leadership to allow groups to serve and grow in the context of the city.
Each summer, we hire 5-6 Summer Interns to lead and mentor the students and adults from the participating church groups. In addition to those leadership opportunities, there are four weeks out of the summer that each intern serves in a ministry or agency they have passion or interest in, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
The Mission Indy staff pours into each Summer Intern, making this the ideal pace to learn and grow in faith.
