Job Description for HR Internship

Position Title: HR Intern

Location: Remote

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This

internship will provide hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment,

onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent

organizational and communication skills and a strong desire to learn and contribute to the HR

department’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

– Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.

– Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.

– Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.

– Conduct initial phone screenings and assist in the interview process.

2. Onboarding and Orientation:

– Prepare new hire and assist in the onboarding process.

– Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.

– Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly.

3. Employee Relations:

– Help address employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

– Support the HR team in implementing and maintaining company policies and procedures.

4. HR Administration:

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database.

– Assist with the preparation and processing of HR documents, such as employment contracts and

performance reviews.

– Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document

management.

Qualifications:

– Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
