Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

Location: In spa and remote

Duration: 13 weeks unpaid internship (This is an unpaid internship, but it offers perks such as free or at-cost treatments).

Estimated Hours: 12-24 hours per week varies depending on campaign and performance

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Administrative Manager to develop a three-month content calendar aligned with our spa’s culture and goals.

– Create engaging content across social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn to promote our services and wellness philosophy.

– Monitor and analyze performance metrics of paid and organic social media channels to optimize engagement.

– Interact with followers and potential clients by responding to comments and questions on our social media platforms.

– Ensure a consistent brand message across all communications and postings that reflects our values.

– Conduct analytic research and prepare reports on social media performance to inform future strategies.

– Implement strategies to increase followers and drive traffic to our wellness center.

– Create excitement for our brand and engage the public through innovative, aesthetic, and wellness-focused content.

Required Skills/Abilities:

– Creative mindset with a deep passion for social media, particularly on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

– Experience managing social media profiles; experience working with influencers is a plus but not required.

– Familiarity with Business Suites and Ad Managers (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).

– General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content.

– Understanding aesthetics, wellness, and the health industry reaching all age groups.

– Positive, motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented personality.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

– Proficient in social media analytics, reporting, and Office 365 applications.

– Graphic design experience is a plus.

– Customer service experience/knowledge is a bonus.

Education and Experience:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; students pursuing a similar degree will be considered.

– 1-2 years of proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.

– Knowledge in various design applications and general graphic design is preferred.
