We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelance video editor to join our team on a project-by-project basis. As a freelance video editor, you’ll be responsible for editing high-quality video content for various clients and projects.
Responsibilities
– Edit video footage to create cohesive, engaging, and high-quality final products
– Collaborate with clients and our team to understand project goals, objectives, and timelines
– Develop and implement effective editing strategies to meet project requirements
– Work with various video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer
– Ensure all final products meet our high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
– Deliver final products on time and within budget
– Provide feedback and suggestions for improving video content and editing processes
Requirements
– 1 year of experience in video editing, preferably in a freelance or agency setting
– Strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and experience
– Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer
– Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
– Reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for video editing
Nice to Have
– Experience with motion graphics, color correction, and sound design
– Knowledge of video content marketing and social media platforms
– Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp
